BBM 8, the latest upgrade to BlackBerry MessengerTM, has got a new and beautiful user interface (which is much easier to navigate if you use a touch screen phone), and a new feature called the BBM Channel. However, the upgrade hasn't gone into the good books of some people. The upgrade has got its own downsides too, and users have been complaining.
I've had my
own share of the terrible experience too. Whenever I opened the application, the
dreadful center clock kept coming up every 3-4 seconds. Initially, I thought I would be
able to tolerate it, but eventually, I got frustrated with it.
I thought
freeing up some device memory (which was almost full) and some application memory
would make things work better. I was wrong. There was no significant change L. For everything I did on BBM 8, I had to wait for 3-4 seconds to get a
response.
Actually, I like the
new interface and the BBM Channel, however, these are things I can live
without. Apparently, I wouldn't miss anything. Okay, okay, okay, I'll miss the BBM
Channel. But I love my good old BBM 7 which serves me better.
HERE'S HOW TO GET BACK THE GOOD OLD BBM 7
So if you,
like me, can no longer tolerate the sluggishness of BBM 8, and you can’t wait to downgrade upgrade to the good old
BBM 7, go to www.blackberry.com/messenger. You will be able to find your way from
that point. It's as simple as ABC drinking garri without sugar. Sincerely, it
is.
